What does Meredith Maple Taste Like?
Meredith Maple is a sweet maple liqueur aged on oak. Our “Classic” flavor is 67 proof, and has a sophisticated nose. It produces a beautiful experience when poured into a snifter glass and sipped unaltered, or over ice. The most popular ways to enjoy Meredith Maple is chased with orange juice as a Breakfast Shot, or mixed with your favorite coffee. Mr. Meredith prefers to use MM as a beer and wine kicker! We would love to develop more flavors such as amaretto, coffee, caramel, butter pecan, créme brûlée, English toffee, hazelnut, gingersnap, chocolate cherry, or butterscotch. Maple is good with just about everything!
How did Mr. Meredith Create Meredith Maple?
Owner and President Michael G. Meredith Jr. made his first liqueur during college at Duke University in the mid to late 70s. He was inspired by friends to start making coffee liqueur – what all the kids were doing at Duke in those days. He finally perfected the recipe and just in time too because his wife-to-be Karen was rather impressed.
To this day Mr. Meredith is not sure if Karen married him because he was just that awesome or if it was for his liqueur. You decide! Mr. Meredith has finally perfected the Classic Flavored Liqueur for the public and hopes you “Feel the Warmth” and enjoy our personally designed liqueurs as much as our family has.
